Our new accompanist Louisa Lam was appointed in the summer of 2020. She had her first piano lesson when she was five years old. Her debut performance was at the age of nine when she won a national competition to perform on stage with French pianist Richard Clayderman at the Derngate Theatre, Northampton. She has since studied at the Royal Academy of Music, King's College London, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Louisa has performed as soloist and accompanist in many venues across London including the Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall, St James' Piccadilly and St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, as well as further afield, including the Auditori Winterthur in Barcelona and Musica Eboræ in Portugal. Louisa is also proud to be part of Yehudi Menuhin's Live Music Now! scheme with vocal ensemble, The Leading Ladies.
