Join composer and conductor Matthew Coleridge for a glorious day of choral singing on 14th May 2022 at Christ's Hospital School.  We’ll spend the day learning Matthew’s sublime Requiem, a work bursting with beautifully created melodies, shimmering harmonies, and dramatic climaxes.

The day will culminate with an informal performance of the work, with professional soloist Verity Bramson, a freelance soprano and singing teacher in demand in London and the South East and also Head of Singing at Christ's Hospital School.

Matthew is an engaging and charismatic leader, teasing the very best out of his singers with warmth, humour and gentle encouragement. His music was hailed by the late Sir Neville Marriner as “a valuable addition to 21st century choral music”.

As well as the singing, you’ll find out about the creative process, hearing about the inspirations and influences behind the piece’s diverse movements.

See and hear what others have said about Matthews workshops in this video

We will be releasing details of the event, ticket prices  and how to sign up in the near future, but for the moment keep the date free!
