2021 to 2022 was a difficult year for us and for many choirs as we worked to resume and rebuild after the pandemic.  It is pleasing to report that all our events in this singing year were profitable and successful, and the number of members has gradually increased.

Our earlier events have been reported already, but this is a resume of those held after Christmas 2021:

Firstly the choir joined with the school choir for their annual Angus Ross Concert, this year featuring Fauré's Requiem on March 27th.

We next held a very successful concert on April 30th, in St Mary's Church, Horsham in honour of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee, entitled "HAPPY & GLORIOUS!".   The programme featured music from the 1952 Coronation, as well as that played at other Royal occasions, and including music by Stanford, Parry and two of Handel's Coronation Athems.  A very successful concert enjoyed by a large audience

Our final event of the singing year was a Workshop lead by composer and conductor Matthew Coleridge on May 14th when we learned and performed his "Requiem".
